Space Stories from an Astronaut -2018

Mars Society Bangladesh in association with ESAB is pleased to invite all the space enthusiasts to join an exciting session to listen to Dr. Tess Caswell, an astronaut from NASA live in Dhaka on 30th June 2018 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at IUB. This is an invite-only event and only a few people can be accommodated. So please get registered soon and wait till the confirmation.

This is a great opportunity for the wannabe space researchers, rover engineers, aerospace engineers to listen to the story of Dr. Tess Caswell and step forward to the pursuit of the dream.

About the speaker:
Dr. Tess Caswell is a simulated astronaut for NASA’s long-duration space missions, a planetary scientist, and an aerospace engineer. Dr. Caswell worked as an Environmental and Thermal Operating Systems or “ETHOS” flight controller for the International Space Station. Dr. Caswell is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory and a STEM mentor for young women. She holds a Ph.D. in Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences from Brown University and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alaska.
