The journey towards space was once a myth in this region. But the situation has faced a huge reshaping. Even the students from Bangladesh are making a direct contribution. It has been years since Bangladeshi students have started making rovers that can travel on Mars and assist astronauts. This year a record number of 12 teams have registered for University Rover Challenge (URC) 2016 which will be held in Utah, USA. Mars Society, Bangladesh chapter aims to acknowledge this and bring them all together so that they can have better preparation for the next round. This very aim has inspired us to organize the National Rover Summit 2017!
